Wow, yes, so much sympathy. Amazon has no idea what to make of my reading tastes, and part of that is because they conflate satire and social drama with completely un-self-aware bodice-rippers.

Ahahahaha yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah. There's that too. They keep trying to sell me sugary sweet bodice rippers because of Richardson's Clarissa.
