guinevak and I have watched the first three episodes of Hilda on Netflix.

It's delightful. I resonate with Hilda, the strange little girl who's interested in everything and committed to being kind and responsible, so hard.

I'll have to check that one out! Right now I'm stuck on watching all of Doctor Who, though, so it may be awhile (I've seen bits and pieces of it, but then I had a plot bunny that involved Miss Frizzle being a Time Lord, and now brain has decided I have to do All The Research, apparently XD)

Oh that's awesome! I really love the idea of Miss Frizzle as a Time Lord, and I think your take on it would be so great!

The Time Lord part is only the most incidental backstory, but brain wants to do a whole history! Silly brain. Also I suspect brain is attempting to avoid actually writing, lol

I've only seen some of the new ones, none of the classic yet, which I hear had some moments, but even so, I stopped watching the first time after Doctor Nine and a bit of Ten, because I didn't like how they treated Mickey, or the whole love triangle thing going on. It did get a little better as it went along though, and my brain's good at picking and choosing what I want to keep for my headcanon ;)

I was *definitely* thinking of things like The Talons of Weng Chiang, which is Fourth Doctor and which I haven't watched because there are things I don't need to put in my eyes for *hours*.

*hugsyou* I am glad! I am sure your headcanons will be darling and ethical and kind as always - I just have this thing where I will want to not watch or read something because it's horrible and my brain will panick because I'm "not being fair" or I'm "not finishing the story" or something like that, so I was a little worried about yours! I am glad you're not experiencing that problem. *firm head nod*

HURRAH! Guin and I finished a few nights ago too! What a great ending!

God I love all the characters. The Rat King is friggin' amazing, what a fantastically unexpected character! And the Water spirit's so lovely! Alfur's general Alfurness makes me so happy! I have suuuuch a crush on Johanna (Hilda's mum, her name gets said in the teacher's night ep).
