A Meme.
Things Currently in my Purse:
- A bright green composition notebook with my name and address on the cover. Inside are several pages of copied out driving directions, numbers for contacting my second cousins, a copy of my
au_bingo table, brainstorming for au_bingo and a very rough draft for a story about pirates.
- A smooth, thin stone from the beach. It is exactly the right size, shape, and texture for holding in my palm and rubbing with my thumb when I'm nervous.
- A very sparkly cloth lizard stuffed with sand given to me by the older of my baby cousins before I got on the train to go back home.
- A tube of lip balm.
- A tiny vial of perfume.
- A very small tube of sunscreen.
- An inexpicable scrap of denim.
- A rolled paper bead.
- A small pink rubber bouncy ball.
- A blue automatic folding umbrella.
- Two ballpoint pens, one from Amnesty International, the other from some vendor that keeps trying to get the folks at the service desk where Mom works to put in a good word.
- The small cylindar container that holds my anti-anxiety medication.
- A ginger snap flavored Larabar.
- The wallet I was given as an early birthday present a week ago.
Things Currently in my Wallet:
- My (v. v. basic, I like my phones simple, also it's at least six years old) cellphone.
- A neon green eyeglass cleaning cloth.
- A sheet of postcard postage stamps. U.S. domestic rate, with polar bears on.
- A sheet of Bill Maudlin tribute postage stamps, with a photo of him as a young man and Willie and Joe. U.S. domestic first class rate.
-A small plastic container of bandaids thrown to me during a parade this summer. The bandaids in it are no longer the orginal ones, which were boring. These are Transformers Animated bandaids, and have giant robots on them!
- A little cash and checks I need to despoit.
- Seventy five cents in coins.
- A pair of basic earrings.
- My driver's liscence.
- My state ID.
- My school ID.
- A public library card.
- An academic library card to which I have a Resident membership.
- My First Aid and CPR Red Cross certification cards.
- My pharmacy's business card.
- My pyschartrist's business card.
- A customer club card to the local independent pet supply shop I frequent.
- A customer club card to a clothes' shop.
