I have got to figure out how to code accents. There must be formatting out there on the vast and wild internet - formating that comes with clear, reliable technical writing. (I know, I know, I might be dreaming, given that I know my folks never worked on a project like that, but...)

Accent marks. I can't figure out how to get them into my papers, and I'm getting sick of printing those puppies out and then going back over with black pen so I'm not misspelling my sources' names.

Mind you, I think both the HTML codes and the Mac key combos are infinitely more sensible. (When petra ever told me how to do an e-acute on a Mac, my TINY MIND WAS BLOWN. It could not POSSIBLY be that logical!)

In Windows MS Word, it is possible to set up sane key combinations, too. Those of us who use the buggers often tend to do so. (It's under Insert -> Symbol, and assigning typing codes is Not Hard.)
