I haven't seen it, and don't intend to - so take this as an observation borne out of his other films, and a bitter one: And that's how you know it's a Christopher Nolan film!

Yeah, I didn't actually intend to either (I really dislike Nolan - he has a lousy grasp of social dynamics, but instead of doing research to fix that problem, he's convinced that actually he's "gritty" and "realistic", which is a peeve of mine). But family outings, and all.
Yeeeeeeah. And what's more, those women are frequently the center of their own stories, and the men become - at least for the space of a book or a run - peripheral actors in those stories, supporting characters.
