Well.

Now there are little spots of - not light itself. More like air bubbles in old glass, where the imperfection magnifies the light but also makes it impossible to actually see through - swinging through my vision.

...what did I do.

Hm, sounds...mildly alarming, yes, of the "temporary and clears up, mention to doc next visit" to the "getting worse, get thee to the doc immediately" variety. I once had a wiggly dancing worm of light slowly drift across my vision about 20 minutes after a fairly substantial thwop to the back of the head in a car crash. Didn't mention it to the ambulance driver or the ER when they checked me over, probably should have. I presume my ocular nerve got a jolt, or some such, but it never happened again.
