I return alive! And I have loads and loads of wildlife stories, some of them extended and funny (interpersonal sea lion drama!) some of them not so much so, but yus. I saw gray whales! Feeding! Also many smaller denizens of the deep.

(And the intertidal zone, and the forested coastal mountains, and...)

And then there was the Family Group Of Bipedal Plains Ape interaction, but that's definitely another story for another day. It went pretty well, though! Despite the fact that when my mother's sisters are all together for more than a few hours, childhood traumas tend to ooze under the door again.
