I had the bicycle all loaded up with a fresh water bottle and the stack of library books that need to go back wheeeeeen - - -

Kaaaaraaack THOOM, interjected a thunderclap.

...so I put everything away again, because biking with library books in a thunderstorm is not actually a good idea. *sigh*

EDIT: And then it didn't rain for two hours, just rumbled ominously, so I could have gone after all!
