Why am I even watching this show? It makes me want to track down Sorkin and his script writers and give them point by point policy lessons. Folks! You missed a spot.
On the other hand I'm in love with all the women, all of them, and seem to have a crush on Leo that turns me into nearly as much of a squishy blob for him as I am for the ladies. (The ladies! Oh, Margaret, my love! And Ginger! Ginger, you are a delight! And Donna! Oh, Donna. And Mrs. Landingham, oh, oh, oh. And CJ, who is sexy and funny and dorky and brillant and the center of most of the show's physical comedy. And Ainsley! Ahahahaha Ainsley, she's hilarious and adorable. And Dr. Bartlet, who's amazing and fierce and incredibly sensuous, and I. The women who are one shot characters! Oh, I love them too. And Andi, I love Andi, and Zooey who is so much like her father, and Mallory, and Laurie and Gina, and I just. Oh.) And Toby makes my heart hurt, because. I don't really identify with characters over all, you know, but sometimes they do things or say things that ring deep in me, and then - Yes. And Toby, well, Toby does that a lot. I hope I don't ever trap myself in that much of a mental and ethical morass.
So I guess that's what I'm doing.
(My family keeps laughing at me because they find President Bartlet reminiscent of me.
Toby: ...Why would anyone have that information at their disposal?
Jed: Parties.
Mom: Remind you of anyone? *looking pointedly at me*
Brother: *snork* Yeeep.)
